FY26 Appropriations Requests
Community Project Funding Requests
Community Project Funding (CPF) is an annual process that allows Members of Congress to request direct federal investment for projects that benefit the communities they represent. These investments are only available to state, local, and tribal governments, as well as eligible nonprofits. CPF requests must demonstrate strong community support and meet strict transparency requirements.
You can find Rep. Friedman's comprehensive guide about the FY26 Community Project Funding process here.
To apply for FY26 CPF, you must fill out this application form.
*PLEASE NOTE:* Our office has not yet received any guidance from the House Appropriations Committee Majority on Fiscal Year 2026 Community Project Funding process, including any deadlines, eligibility criteria, or whether the program will be available at all for the FY26 cycle. If the program is available, we anticipate that eligibility and submission guidance will be similar to Fiscal Year 2025 guidance, which is reflected in our CPF Resource Guide. We encourage applicants to ensure their projects are eligible under this guidance. Should FY26 guidance deviate from the information outlined in our Resource Guide, the office will reach out to the relevant applicants to ensure that their projects reflect updated requirements.
