LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA —U.S. Congresswoman Laura Friedman (CA-30) hosted a town hall at Los Angeles City College. There, she continued engaging directly with constituents on the most pressing issues facing families across the region — from unaffordable housing and rising healthcare costs to attacks on democratic institutions and essential federal services. The town hall was live-streamed on CSPAN.
A recording of the town hall can be found HERE.
“It was an honor to host this town hall and hear directly from the people I represent. These conversations matter — and what I heard tonight was clear: families are struggling with rising costs, broken systems, and an administration that’s making things worse,” said U.S. Congresswoman Friedman (CA-30). “From defunding Social Security offices to targeting our healthcare and veterans, this is sabotage, not governance. I’ll keep showing up — in our communities, in the courts, and in Congress — to fight for the values we share and the future we deserve.”
Constituents submitted questions throughout the evening, which were read aloud unfiltered.
