RELEASE: Friedman Joins Los Feliz Community Discussion

June 17, 2025

Highlights Marines in LA, Wildfire Recovery, Protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

LOS ANGELES, CA — U.S. Congresswoman Laura Friedman (CA-30) joined a community discussion hosted by the Los Feliz Improvement Association. There, she took questions related to ongoing developments related to Trump sending the Marines to Los Angeles, her work fighting for unconditional disaster aid, and fighting back against Republican attempts to cut Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.

“From concerns about safety and federal overreach to wildfire recovery and protecting vital services — these are the kinds of community discussions that fuel my work in Congress every day,” said Congresswoman Laura Friedman (CA-30). “A massive thank you to the Los Feliz Improvement Association for organizing this community discussion.”

Friedman has joined more than a dozen town halls, rallies, and roundtables since becoming a member of Congress. Including four over the weekend at No Kings Day protests.
