ICYMI: Rep. Friedman Calls Out GOP Threats to Condition Aid

Today, January 17, 2025, U.S. Representative Laura Friedman (CA-30) joined CNN to call out the unprecedented threats by some GOP Members of Congress to condition disaster aid for CA fire victims.

Friedman also called out the hypocrisy in withholding aid to Californians who paid $83 billion more in taxes than they received from the federal government. LA County residents alone paid more in taxes than every other state except for four.   

Yesterday, Rep. Friedman released a statement on threats to condition disaster aid to California.
