GLENDALE, CA — U.S. Congresswoman Laura Friedman (CA-30) celebrated a new federal investment of $5,950,000 for the City of Glendale through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) to bolster construction of the Central Park Block project. The project will help bring much-needed greenspace access into a bustling, urban part of Glendale.

Topics of discussion included the impacts of Republican cuts to Medicaid and freezes in grants affecting research and prevention services.

Friedman met with Dream Center staff, who are former Center beneficiaries themselves, as well as current residents.
